Our story…

We are a modern boutique style hospital based midwifery practices with three locations in the DFW Metroplex. Our care philosophy supports listening to and respecting women regarding their health care choices and decisions. The Midwife+Co midwives are highly trained and hold either a doctorate or masters degree. Our midwives are unique in that they have both expertise in the medical and midwifery model of care. They have trained or worked in both hospital and out of hospital settings, and are comfortable providing traditional midwifery as well as medical interventions when needed. As a bonus, our midwives work collaboratively with OBGYN physicians who are available to the midwives 24/7 for consultation and referrals. The midwives attend deliveries at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth, and Texas Health Mansfield.

Our story is unique as we are a midwife-led midwifery practice. This simply means that we are independently owned and operated by midwives. Our incredible journey started with the establishment of Fort Worth Birthing & Wellness Center in 2013, Dallas Midwife Associates in 2018, Fort Worth Midwife Associates in 2020 and Mansfield Midwife Associates in 2021. Starting in 2022, we felt the need to rebrand our company name to Midwife+Co to express our group unity and simplify our image in the community. Our team feels it is a great honor to be invited into the birth and life journeys of so many amazing women and families in the communities we serve.
